All appointments require a 20% non-refundable deposit to secure your slot.

The remaining balance is due after service. (Cash preferred)
Cancellations & Rescheduling
A 48-hour notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
Sunday appointments must be booked at least 48 hours in advance.
Deposits are not refundable, but may be converted to store credit when cancellation is made within the required time.
Late Appointments
Appointments booked at 4:00 PM or later are considered late appointments and include a $50 late appointment fee due at checkout.
Clients arriving 30 minutes late will have their appointment automatically canceled.
No-call/no-shows are not accepted. If an emergency happens, please contact us as soon as possible.
To protect your comfort and safety:
Inform your stylist if you are tender-headed
Notify us of allergies, sensitivities, or scalp conditions
ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) wash is available for sensitive scalps (48-hour notice required)
Once hair is washed, no same-day changes can be made to the service
We stand behind our work, and we also expect clear communication:
Clients have 24 hours after service to report issues.
Any adjustments must be requested within 24 hours.
No refunds after leaving the salon satisfied.
If dissatisfaction is expressed before leaving, we may offer free style removal as resolution.
After leaving, the client is responsible for proper maintenance.
Special Style Care
Some styles require extra care:
French Curl styles may loosen
Bohemian styles may shed or tangle
Client Information
Personal information is used only for booking and service records.
Phone/email are used only for appointment confirmations and essential communication.
Photos may be taken only with client consent.
Clients can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
Data Security
Records are stored securely in our booking system.
Payments are processed through secure encrypted platforms.
Client information is never sold or shared with third parties.
Photo Usage Rights
Before/after photos require permission.
Clients may request photo removal at any time.
Minors’ photos will not be used without parent/guardian written consent.
Medical Information
Disclosed medical conditions/allergies are confidential.
Used only to provide safe services.
Stored separately from general client records when needed.
To ensure the best results, your hair must be ready before your appointment:
Hair must be freshly washed and dried
Hair must be completely free of product
Hair must be detangled
Hair must be free of:
glue
gels
heavy oils or styling products
Wash & Blow-Dry Option
A basic wash and blow-dry service is available for an additional charge.
Minimum Hair Length
Hair must be at least 3 inches long for most styles.
Style Qualification Questions
If you are unsure whether your hair qualifies for a style, contact us by email for support.
We provide services for clients ages 6 and up.
Standard braiding hair is included in services.
What We Do Not Provide
We do not provide:
Textured specialty hair (example: Bohemian curls, kinky hair, crochet hair)
All-human hair braids (except deep wavy Boho pieces)
Weave bundles (clients must bring their own bundles)
Wash Services Products
Shampoo and conditioner are provided.
Clients may bring specific products if preferred.
Extra Charges Apply For
Additional charges may apply for:
Extra-long hair
Very thick hair
Style modifications
Removal of existing braids or extensions
Hair additions/extensions not included in the service
Style Concerns & Resolution
If you have any concerns about your service, please schedule a consultation with the owner directly. All quality concerns must be handled through management to ensure proper resolution and should not be addressed in the styling area. You may email us or ask the front desk to arrange a meeting with management.
Children’s Services (Ages 6+)
We provide services for children ages 6 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. We reserve the right to decline service if a child is uncooperative or unable to remain still. Additional time charges may apply if excessive movement causes delays or affects the service process.
Product Use
Braids on Budget uses only professional-grade products. Clients may bring personal products with stylist approval. All hair extensions and hair products used must meet our quality standards to ensure the best results and a safe service experience.
We maintain a respectful environment for clients and staff.
No additional guests unless necessary.
Water, coffee, and refreshments are available.
Positive energy IS required from both clients and staff.
Zero tolerance for:
bullying
disrespect
aggressive behavior
Braids on Budget reserves the right to:
Decline service to any client
End service immediately if policies are violated
Block repeat offenders from booking
